Specialty Services Policies

Project Consultation Services:

Getting help with your own projects -

  • You are entitled to cancel any consultation services with a 72 hour prior notice (Day of appointment not included) of your scheduled appointment. (IE: If you scheduled a consultation at 12pm on 15 May, 2024, then you must cancel no later than 12pm on 12 May, 2024.)

  • In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement, including your customer name and email address associated with your reserved appointment day and time. Cancellation time will be documented as the time of our receipt of your message via email. (We cannot be held liable for delays or errs as a result of errs in the electronic delivery process of emails)

  • Consultations are scheduled in 30 minute increments. A $25usd deposit (not including tax) is required at the time of scheduling, plus an addition $10usd per each addition 30 minutes scheduled. Therefore, if you schedule for a 90 minute consultation, you will be charged a to deposit of $45usd, plus any relevant taxes (The initial $25, plus $10x2 for the two addition 30 minute blocks) in order to reserve your appointment.

  • Full appointment fee is due upon the day of appointment and must be paid prior to the consultation being provided. Failure to pay prior to the start of your consult will cause your appointment time to be spent waiting for the transaction to be completed, and you will lose that time at your own cost without compensation.

  • The amount due is the total for your scheduled time. It is paid for whether it is used or not. We highly encourage you to accurately account for the time you will need as you will not be reimbursed to unused time and it will not be credited for a future use. There are exceptions that are at the full discretion of our consultation associates reserved for uncontrollable and unusual circumstances, but those are not a guarantee or a courtesy offering.

  • Once appointment fees have been paid, payments are final and fall under our standard refund policies.

  • Deposit amounts will be applied towards the total cost of your scheduled consultation appointment fee, which are as follows:

    • 30 minutes - $35.00

    • 60 minutes - $65.00

    • 90 minutes - $96.00

    • 120 minutes and up - $130.00 plus $25.00 for each addition 30 minutes thereafter.

Failure to cancel within the above stated cancellation window will result in a forfeiture of your full appointment deposit.

At our discretion, we may reimburse you, in part or in full, if your cancellation was due to unforeseeable circumstances. We may also choose to offer a rescheduled appointment depending on your circumstances. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you even suspect there may be a problem with keeping your scheduled consultation services.

Appointment Rescheduling:

Life changes, we get it -

  • Appointments rescheduled with sufficient notice (exceeding 72 hours notice) will not incur a rescheduling fee for the first reschedule. Addition rescheduling needs will require an additional 20% non-refundable deposit, for each additional scheduling change, in addition to the deposit fees already paid, in order to reschedule. (Subject to exceptions as determined by TLC)

Custom Order Consultation Services:

Getting help with your custom orders -

  • You are entitled to a free consultation service before placing any custom order. While we do not limit the time necessary for the planning process of whatever project you're interested in, this free service is scheduled upon availability of our various artisans and associates. This may require and/or result in multiple sessions.

  • Repeated failures to cooperate with the consultation and/or planning process may result in your project being cancelled.

  • Failure to follow all instructions provided during the consultation and/or providing requested information, answers and/or photographs, measurements, etc. necessary in implementing your project will result in the delay of your project before any materials are ordered or any work is started. This may result in a delay in the completion scheduling, or a complete cancellation of the project altogether.
